Established in 2012, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Patna) is one of the six institutes established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). It is previously known as Jaya Prakash Narayan All India Institute of Medical Sciences (JPNAIIMS). Approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC), AIIMS Patna is an autonomous institute registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act. AIIMS Patna offers BSc (Hons) Nursing, MBBS at the UG level and MD & MS at the PG level, across several specialisations. The institute has signed MOUs with King George Medical University, Lucknow and the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna for collaborative training and research. 1. Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee.
2. Click on ‘New Candidate Registration’.
3. Enter the required details. A new roll number and password will be generated.Â
4. Log on to the Medical Counselling Committee website and click on Candidate Login.
5. Enter the roll number and password.
6. You will be directed to a new page where you have to enter your personal details.
7. After successful registration, pay the counselling fee online.Â
8. Submit your preferences by filling in your choices, based on your scores.Â
9. Once you are done, enter your password and lock choices. You cannot make any changes after locking your choices.
10. Keep a printout of the locked choices for future reference.
11. After each round of counselling, the MCC releases seat allotment results.
12. Candidates have to report to the allotted college with the allotment letter and other documents.
13. 15% of the seats are All-India Quota seats.
14. Seats left vacant after two rounds of counselling will be adjusted in the mop-up round.
