-The CAT 2023 admission card in two copies, together with a photo ID evidence (original and photocopy), are required of candidates.
-The only IDs that can be used to enter the exam room are the CAT 2023 admission card and picture ID.
-For rough work, the authorities will provide a writing paper and pen, which must be returned after the test. It will be necessary for candidates to fill up the writing page with their name and registration number.
-The entry time specified on their admission cards is when candidates must show up at the CAT exam site.
-Applicants must attach their photo to their admit card, the same photo that was uploaded with their CAT application.
-It is not allowed for candidates to sign their CAT admission card in advance. Only in front of the the examiner inside the test room is the admit card to be signed.
-It is prohibited to use a mobile phone, calculator, iPad, or any other device within the exam room.
-It is recommended that candidates avoid bringing bags or luggage to the CAT 2023 exam location, as there will be no option to turn in bags or valuables.
-Metal jewelry, garments with pockets, coats, and shoes are not allowed.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts you can take the CAT
According to me, NMAT is so much easier than CAT and most of the candidates who prepare for CAT can easily attempt NMAT. Therefore, if you are well prepared for CAT, NMAT should not be an issue. There are also some minor topics that differ in both exams other than that almost all the topics remain the same.
