Scholarships for pre-admission
Prior to filling out their first preference for IITM, eligible candidates seeking Pre-Admission Scholarships in MBA, B.Com (Hons.), BCA and BBA programmes must obtain online sanction.
A one-time scholarship of Rs. 75,000/- will be awarded to MBA candidates with an aggregate of 86 percent or more at graduation level.
It is not applicable to calculate the CAT percentile
The Liberal Need-Cum-Merit Scholarship Institute provides this scholarship for the benefit of its pupils.
Internal Awards
The Institute grants Merit Scholarships to the students based on their academic achievement in University Examinations in order to recognize and support outstanding academic performers. The following is an appendix with scholarship information:
1. The top three program-wise university rank holders will receive a Rs. 25000/- (Annual) Scholarship.
2. Program-wise Toppers (other than university Rank Holders) would receive a scholarship worth Rs. 15,000/- (Annual)
3.Top University students would receive Rs. 500 each semester, subject-wise. Scholarship
4. University Exemplary Performance recipients will receive a scholarship worth Rs. 10,000.
Note:
1. The aforementioned scholarships are only available to students who achieve minimum 90% and above or a university rank in the top three spots.
2. A student is only eligible for one Scholarship, which must be the highest one for which they qualify.
3. It’s crucial to remember that the In-House Merit Scholarships listed at Sl.Nos. 1, 2, and 3 are only available for the first and second years.
4. The In-House Merit Scholarships listed at sl. Nos. 1, 2, and 3 are applicable for the first year of the MBA program.
For B.Com (Hons)
Candidates for the B.Com (Hons.) program must have at least 91% overall in Class XII (excluding optional courses) in order to be eligible for the one-time scholarship of Rs. 40,000 (CET rank is not relevant).
Candidates who receive a CET rank between 1 and 500 are eligible for a one-time scholarship worth Rs. 60,000 (Class XII is not applicable).
One-Time Scholarship of Rs. 40,000 is available to those with CET Ranks 501 to 1000 (Class XII are Not Applicable).
FOR BCA
Candidates must have a grade point average of 91% or higher in Class XII (excluding elective subjects) in order to be eligible for the one-time scholarship of Rs. 40,000.
For BBA
Candidates for the BBA program must have at least 91% in Class XII (excluding elective courses) or a CET rank of 1 to 500 to be eligible for the one-time scholarship of Rs. 60,000/-.
One-time scholarships of Rs. 40,000 are available to applicants who have achieved 86% or higher in Class XII (excluding optional subjects) and a CET Rank of 501 to 1000.
