MAT is a nationwide MBA entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). The MAT is held in February, May, September, and December in various sessions. MAT is the sole MBA entrance exam in India that offers applicants the option to select between Paper Based Test (PBT), Computer Based Test (CBT), and Internet Based Test (IBT) modes. The MAT question paper includes questions from five subjects: Language Comprehension, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and Indian & Global Environment. MAT eligibility criteria define the basic requirements that all candidates must meet. Candidates applying for the MAT 2024 exam should have the minimum eligibility criteria imposed by the exam conducting authorities before completing the application forms.
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or its equivalent.
Any student in their last year of study can apply to take the test.
No age restriction for the test has been stated by AIMA.

Visit the AIMA MAT webpage at mat.aima.in.
✅Fill in some basic information and pick a password.
✅Click on sign up.
✅An OTP will be sent to the phone number you provided.
✅Check your phone number with the OTP and then log in.
✅You can pay the fee with a debit or credit card or through net banking.
✅Choose the test type and two places to take the test (PBT or CBT).
✅Fill in the rest of the fields.
✅Upload a photo and signature in the style asked for.
✅Pick five schools that AIMA should send your MAT score to.
✅Download a copy of the properly filled-out application form after sending it in.

You are allowed to take the MAT exam as many times as you like. Three distinct modalities and numerous dates throughout the year are used for MAT. In February, May, September, and December, the MAT test is given. There are 4-5 IBT sessions, 2 CBT sessions, and 1 PBT session in each phase. A candidate may select any subsequent session to retake the exam if they are unsatisfied with their initial attempt’s result. Depending on their degree of preparation, whether they want to pursue an MBA, or the target college’s admission cycle, they can select a test phase and a session. Ans-The AIMA MAT entrance exam consists of 200 questions in total.
Ans-The exam paper does ¼ of negative marking. For each accurate response, you’ll receive +4 points.
