Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) is an autonomous college founded in the year 1979. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum and has been approved by AICTE. The institute is ranked at 96 for B.Tech by India Today ranking 2025.

DSCE Bangalore Admission process
Students who are seeking to take admission at DSCE, have to go through the common test conducted by state agencies and national agencies like KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka) and GATE (General Aptitude Test in Engineering). However, for some courses admission can be made on the merit basis also.

- Admission to the B.E. courses are processed on the basis of CET and COMEDK conducted by the Government of Karnataka. Candidates with meritorious ranking are considered for admission after the counseling process.
- Admission to M. Tech. courses is processed through counseling process after clearing entrance examination conducted by VTU. students with valid GATE score will be given first preference in the counseling process then university rank holders.
- Admission to Ph.D./ M.Sc. (Research) courses are processed through the ULRAT entrance test conducted by VTU.
- For SC/ ST candidates, relaxation is made as per the regulations of Karnataka Government.

Merit based Scholarships
Scholarship 1: Pragati Scheme for girls
Eligibility: Maximum two girl child per family. Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
Scholarship 2: Saksham Scholarship
For Specially-abled students, having disabilities of not less than 40%. Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
Scholarship 3: Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities
Eligibility: Students belonging to six notified minority communities viz. Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi (Zoroastrian) studying in India and fulfilling the Scheme guidelines are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
Scholarship 4: Post-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
Eligibility: The students with the specified disabilities defined in schedule of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act.2016 will be eligible for the scholarships.
