About IIM Bodh Gaya
Established in 2015, IIM Bodh Gaya is one of the five IIMs set up under the Union Budget of 2014, India. The first academic session was inaugurated by the then human resource minister, Smriti Irani in August 2015. The institute is currently being mentored by IIM Calcutta. Located on a 119-acre campus in Prabandh Vihar, Bodh Gaya, the institute is also now the first third-generation IIM to have its own integrated campus.

IIM Bodh Gaya Highlights 2025
IIM Bodh Gaya campus encompasses cutting-edge facilities like Beltron and NKN internet connectivity, computer lab with over more than 100 computers. There are separate academic and administrative blocks with class rooms, auditorium and offices for placement committee, IR committee and media and PR cell, adding to this development is an eco-friendly campus. IIM Bodh Gaya has over 17 full-time and 60 visiting faculty members.

IIM Bodh Gaya Admission Process
Step 1: IIM Bodhgaya Application Process 2024
Candidates willing to take admission in courses offered at IIM Bodhgaya must apply for the CAT exam by completing the CAT application process by paying the application fee of INR 2400 (for UR candidates) and INR 1200 (for reserved categories).
Step 2: IIM Bodhgaya Selection Criteria 2024
The selection criteria for admission in MBA is completely entrance based, i.e. candidates having valid CAT scores will be shortlisted for further admission process. Besides MBA, admission in other programmes offered at IIM Bodhgaya such as BBM and doctoral level programmes are also entrance exam based.
Step 3: IIM Bodhgaya Final Seat Allotment 2024:
For admission to the MBA at IIM Bodhgaya, candidates should have valid CAT scores and must qualify for the personal interview (PI) round followed by document verification and fee payment to complete the admission process leading to final seat allotment.

The institute has successfully concluded the placement season for the MBA batch 2021-23. The highest package offered was INR 48.58 LPA. Further, the IIM Bodh Gaya average package and median package stood at INR 15.92 LPA and INR 15 LPA, respectively. Nearly 70 companies participated in the IIM Bodh Gaya placements 2023, offering 97 job offers. BFSI emerged as the top sector with the highest percentage of offers made in it.
