Kurukshetra University (KUK), Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) is a distance learning Institute. It has been rated in category I by the UGC. Every year more than 20,000 students enrol for the distance education program. This university provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the doorstep of the student. Matric Scholarship Scheme of GOI for the welfare of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste Category.
Such students whose parents/guardian income is up to Rs. 2.50 Lac per annum are eligible for benefits under
the said scheme. The benefits include enrollment/registration, tuition, games, Union, Library, Magazine, Medical
Examination and such other fees are compulsorily payable by the student to the institution or University/Board.
