During MICA Ahmedabad Summer Internship Placements 2021, 76 companies visited the campus. These recruiters placed a total of 213 students. Job roles like Operations, Marketing, Media Planning, Digital Marketing etc were offered to the students. The highest stipend offer was made by the FMCG sector.
The highest stipend of INR 3.20 Lakhs per month was offered. The average stipend stood at INR 98.3 K per month. Average stipend of top 25 students stood at INR 2.48 Lakhs per month, average stipend of top 50 students stood at INR 1.81 Lakhs per month, average stipend of top 100 students stood at INR 1.28 Lakhs per month.
The MICA Scholarships are awarded annually based on the student’s overall academic performance and family income. The scholarships are awarded to students currently pursuing studies at MICA and benefit students of the 2-year programmes viz. the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Communications) – PGDM(C) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management – PGDM and the 1-year Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Crafting Creative Communications (CCC).
MICA has signed an MOU with RSPL Welfare Foundation (RWF) wherein the RSPL Welfare Foundation will provide scholarships to the second-year students of PGDM(C) & PGDM Programme at MICA based on merit and means. The scholarship given by the RWF will be known as the “Poonam Gyanchandani Memorial Scholarship.” This will be over and above the annual MICA Scholarships.

– Student’s academic performance (minimum CGPA of 3.00) and class attendance record (minimum 80% across all subjects) in the first year (applicable to PGP-2)

The total number of scholarships to be awarded will be 27 (to PGP-1, PGP-2, and CCC), including the sponsored scholarship from RWF for 7 PGP-2 students, where RWF will provide 5 lacs each to the selected students.
The scholarship to be awarded for PGP-2 students will be 12, out of which 7 will be from RWF and up to 5 will be from MICA (MICA will provide up to 25% of the annual fees per student in the programme).
The scholarship to be awarded for PGP-1 will be up to 13, and for CCC, it will be up to 2 (MICA will provide up to 25% of the annual fees per student in the respective programme).
