About MVJ College of Engineering
MVJ College of Engineering is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the AICTE, and UGC. It is accredited by the NBA and NAAC. MVJCE was established as a private college in 1982 and is ranked 67 for BTech by The Week 2021.
The college has five schools of study namely the School of Computer Science, School of Electrical Science, School of Mechanical Science, Basic Science, and School of Business. The college has 12 departments that offer 13 UG, five PG, and six PhD programmes across various streams of Engineering and Management.

Merit based Scholarships
Scholarship will be considered for only one academic year. To avail the scholarship for the next academic year, the student needs to submit the renewal application form, along with the necessary documents, 2 weeks before the commencement of the odd semester.

To renew the scholarship, the candidates need to score CGPA as given below every semester:
- Merit 1 - CGPA > 7.8
- Merit 2 - CGPA > 7.0
- Merit 3 - CGPA > 6.0
