PUMBA, or Savitribai Phule Pune University, was founded in 1971 and is home to the Department of Management Science. It was among India’s first management schools. It provides PhD, Executive MBA, MBA (Pharma Biotech), BBA (Hospitality), and MBA. PUMBA is one of the very few universities in the nation that have received this kind of recognition, having received an institutional grade A accreditation with five stars. Situated within Savitribai Phule Pune University’s 414 acres of verdant, lush settings, the institute offers the ideal environment for the development of flawless managerial skills. In 2004, PUMBA attained complete autonomy and implemented a rigorous trimester-based curriculum, an integrated internship program, and a modified evaluation system.
