1-For MBA Operations Management, admission is offered on the basis of entrance examinations such as XAT, CAT, MAT, and other examinations conducted by colleges.
2-Admission into leading IIMs for MBA Operations Management 2023-2024 is now closed. Note that they will start their registration in January once the CAT results are declared.
3-In many MBA institutes, registration in Operations Management will be offered starting around May or August 2024.
-A bachelor’s degree from any stream or equivalent qualification is mandatory to be eligible for an MBA in Operation Management program.
-The applicant must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in his/her previous examination. For leading institutes like IITs and IIMs, the minimum score should be 60% in aggregate. Note: Students from reserved categories (OBC, ST, and SC) are given a 5% relaxation in score.
-Students who are in their final year are also allowed to apply for an MBA in Operations Management. But, to do this, they will have to show a provisional certificate from their institute.
In most management colleges or institutes, admission to MBA in Operations courses is based on national-level entrance examinations, such as XAT, MAT, and CAT, etc. These are speed-based exams, wherein the the applicant would have to answer questions from subjects like Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability Reading, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical reasoning.
